Today I played with this beautiful 4 year old Husky. She put her paw on my knee and stared into my eyes while I was sitting. That was despite her mother saying that she was afraid of men. No I wasn’t holding any food.

Blues and Fusion dance at Coalescence

This is what I do every Sunday night and 2 Friday nights every month. It is the most healing and the most precious gift that I receive from my friends in the dance community. The healing power of dance makes me shiny and new every week so I can take on life battles. Thank you Sabrina for the dance and Tristan for the video. It is trippy to see myself dance in a video.

We will be pets to our machine overlords

At some point machines will outsmart us and do everything more efficiently that we do. Then they will adopt us as pets and then we will be able to play all day and pester them if our bowl of food was slightly empty. We will be neutered and as a result of selective breeding we will be calm, cute, and have floppy ears with big eyes. We will possibly live longer. They may post videos and pictures of us on the Internet too.

Here is an illustrator with mad skills and imagination

I got a wonderful surprise today in mail. Thank you @mar_killing this means a lot to me

The other day I received a nice surprise from my friend Mark Illing. He is a young illustrator and Emily Carr graduate. I received this gift for participating in one of his crowd funding campaigns.

I first met Mark several years ago at JJBean coffee shop in Yaletown and sparked a conversation. If you ever come across him in one of the cool Vancouver coffee shops, take a moment and observe his mad skills and imagination while working on his illustrations.  He has one of the most complex minds that you can imagine and he is extremely talented. You can see more of his work here
